Terms and Conditions
- When entering and departing the kennels and cattery all dogs must be on a lead and cats in a secure carrier. All pets must be microchipped and dogs must wear a collar with an identification tag as required by law.
- Whilst every care and attention will be given to your pet, in the event of any need for a vet your pet will be taken to your own vet if possible or we will call our own veterinary surgery. Any expenses not covered by our insurance company will be the responsibility of the owner.
- All medical conditions and behavioural traits must be declared before boarding and any medication must be supplied with clear instruction regarding administration. Please supply enough medication for more than the boarding period.
- All pets need to be in good health to board and any showing signs of infectious disease may be turned away.
- All dogs must be vaccinated against Distemper, Parvo Virus, Hepatitis, Leptospirosis and Kennel Cough. All cats for Feline Enteritis and Cat Flu. All new and restarted vaccinations must be administered at least 14 days prior to boarding with us. A vaccination record must be presented at check in.
- All pets must be up to date with a flea, tick and worm treatment. If your pet is infected, it will be treated at an additional minimum charge of £25.
- We endeavour to feed your pet the same or similar to its home diet. Raw or prescription diets need to be supplied by the owner.
- All leads, toys and bedding are left at the owner’s risk. We may need to wash and tumble dry bedding.
- Pets from the same household can be housed together but we reserve the right to separate them should the need arise. We will endeavour to contact the owner to discuss this.
- By accepting the terms and conditions you allow Fordleymoor Kennels and Cattery in conjunction with a vet to make the best decision for your pet if both yourselves and your emergency contact cannot be reached.
- Any pets left for 7 days beyond the booked departure date without contact from the owner or a representative shall be considered free for rehoming if a suitable home can be found.
- By agreeing to our terms and conditions you are giving us permission to take photographs of your pet to publish on our Facebook page and website. If you would prefer your pet NOT to be photographed please advise us when booking in.
- By leaving your pet with us we understand that you are accepting our terms and conditions.
